Whew, my great new dental insurance has just went into effect!
It’s been such a long time since the last time I was insured that I’ve ended up suffering from a little bit of dental pain. The good news is, my new employer provides an insurance policy that is extremely flexible. So, I’m going to be getting my mouth fixed up right. My coverage is so good, as a matter of fact, that now I’m seriously pondering getting more done than just regular basic dental work and maybe getting some cosmetic dentistry work done too. My wife has been hinting around about doing some some straightening or some laser whitening, so we’ll see what kind of money we’d have to spend on having those done.
The big challenge, for me, is that first I need to find a good dentist in our area. It makes me feel bad to say it, but my family completely lacks a regular family dentist that we know and trust.We live in Tampa, Florida, so I’ve been on the lookout for a Tampa Bay dentist that is good with kids and has a a lot of good experience with these particular types of services. It’s not so easy to find! There are a lot of things to take into consideration when you’re searching for a dentist. Like, I really don’t know if I would want to visit a dentist who got the bulk of his experience working with families.
As far as the advanced dental services go, I’ve just really been toying around with the idea. The new more advanced techniques have definitely been gaining ground over the past few years. I keep hearing about them on the radio, how much better they are than traditional dentistry techniques. I’ve been searching the internet for “sedation dentistry Tampa” and it seems like the training and equipment they use is pretty far beyond what you would have expected to get 30 years ago, so I’m hoping that my family will end up being able to take advantage of such good dentistry now that I have a a job that provides dental insurance like this. No more Tampa emergency dentist for us!
